Ella is six weeks old and has gained four pounds since leaving the hospital. She gained 2.5 lbs. in July, growing from 6.1 lbs. to 8.6 lbs. The 2010 Davis family reunion (Bobbie’s side of the family) was held July 24th at Spanish Landing Park. The reunion was our first in ten years. Dad and Kathy flew in from North Carolina, and Nicole visited from Denver. Nicole looked like a natural mother when she held Ella. The pictures below link to the album:

Ella turned one month old on Friday. She and celebrated on Saturday with a visit from Aunt Cindy and Uncle John. Cindy and John drove all the way down from Tustin and took these great pictures for us. Thanks Cindy! The pics link to the photo album:

Ella has had visitors every single day since she was born! Friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors have all stopped by the hospital or greeted her at home. She does not seem to mind the attention and simply goes about her routine of sleeping and eating. Below are pictures from Ella’s first couple weeks in her new home:

Ella Rachel was born at 8:11 PM at Pomerado Hospital on June 16th. She weighs 4 lbs. 15 oz. and is 17 inches long. Mom and baby are doing fine. She looks a lot smaller in person than she does in the pics.
