Oregon Vacation

Karen and I cashed in a wedding present from Jim and Gingie Palmer: seven days in Portland, Oregon. Being able to spend some time with Karen was the best part, getting quality time together is tough during the work week. We drove all over the city and surrounding communities, deciding Sherwood was our favorite. We then drove East to The Dalles just to see if it looks the same as it did when I lived there in 1985 (it does). In Portland we were able to see an old friend on mine, Chris Vitron, for the first time in over 20 years. We’re older, but basically the same.

Tiny Baby Pictures

Our first in-vitro cycle started in February: nine eggs, four embryos, one tiny baby. UPDATE (06/26/2010): The baby below miscarried at eleven weeks. However, our next cycle resulted in our wonderful, beautiful Ella.
