Karen celebrated her birthday at Native Foods, her favorite vegan restaurant.
Aunt Dodie Marple from Myrtle beach flew out to visit her sister and the rest of the Palmer family. Aunt Dodie last visited San Diego for our wedding in 2005.
Karen held her Humane California fundraiser over the weekend. We had a strong turnout, raised $1350 for California’s 2008 “Yes on Prop 2″ campaign, and met a lot of new people. Karen and I are grateful to have such a wonderful group of friends and family who so eagerly shared their time and money for a cause very important to us. We can’t thank you enough.
